Cloud Expo Asia Pte Ltd (CloserStill Media) strives to constantly improve and to highlight that we are an event organiser that takes serious efforts in conserving the environment through the smallest way possible, with months of training and preparation works involved.
We’re pleased to have been assessed and certified as meeting the requirements of the Singapore MICE Sustainability Certification – BRONZE for the Event Organiser category. This certification is testament to the work we do daily, with commitment and implementation of sustainability targets in our event planning and preparation for Tech Week Singapore.
The Singapore MICE Sustainability Certification - SACEOS x STB
The Singapore MICE Sustainability Certification (MSC), developed by SACEOS with support from the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and industry stakeholders, was launched on 24 January 2024 to drive sustainable practices and raise sustainability standards across Singapore’s Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry.
In November 2024, the Singapore MSC Framework achieved GSTC-Recognized Standard status, aligning with the GSTC MICE Criteria Version 1.0. This recognition strengthens its credibility as a global sustainability framework and reinforces Singapore’s position as a leading sustainable MICE destination.
The framework applies across the MICE ecosystem, including event organisers, venues, stand builders, caterers, transport operators, freight forwarders, and event technology and audiovisual providers. It covers key sustainability areas such as carbon, waste, energy, and water management, alongside social responsibility, workforce competency, and sustainable procurement.
