Can I bring my child into the exhibition with me?

How can we ensure that our personal data is protected and avoid falling for scams?

Be cautious of any company that claims to have our full visitor/attendee list. We would never sell, share, or disclose our attendee’s data to any third parties without their explicit consent.

Unfortunately, like many event organisers, we are aware that impersonators sometimes try to deceive our customers by sending fraudulent emails claiming to be us and offering to sell attendee data. These are clearly scams and should be treated with caution.

If you receive any suspicious emails claiming to be from CloserStill Media, especially those offering to sell or share attendee data, please do not engage with them. Instead, follow these steps:

  • Do not respond to the email.

  • Do not click on any links or download attachments from the email.

  • Block the sender to prevent further emails from reaching you.

  • Report the email to us at dataprotection@closerstillmedia.com, providing details of the email you received.

  • Check our website for official updates and information regarding the event.

TECH WEEK SINGAPORE APP/SWAPCARD

How will data capture/lead scanning work?

Our event app has a built-in lead scanning function. The lead scanner uses your mobile device’s camera to capture visitor badge QR code data. This information is stored in the app and is available for export via desktop at any time.

Do we require a physical lead scanning device?

No, only a mobile device is required to access the event app and scan visitor badges.

Where/how do we receive the lead scanner data after the event?

You will be able to download your whole team’s lead scanning data via the desktop version of our event app. If your company is sponsoring a conference session or a feature e.g. theatre or lounge, the data is sent via a secure download link within 5 working days after the event.

I am trying to add team members via the event app but I can’t see them?

Your colleague may not be registered for an exhibitor pass yet or has accidentally applied for a visitor pass. Please allow up to 1 hour after exhibitor badge registration for the app platform to sync. If your team member has accidentally registered for a visitor ticket, please email techweek@closerstillmedia.com.

I tried logging into the event app but it says ‘no events to show’ / ‘not part of an event community’. What should I do?

This can occur when you’re not yet registered for an exhibitor pass. Please check you have applied and allow up to 1 hour after exhibitor badge registration for the app platform to sync. Also check that your primary contact has added you to their ‘Exhibition Team’ via the app. If you need any assistance, please email: techweek@closerstillmedia.com.

How is the lead data collected amongst my team at the end of the event?

Your whole team’s lead capture data will be compiled into one list for mass export which can be viewed and downloaded via the ‘Leads’ tab in the ‘Exhibition Centre’.

If a team member has switched off the setting - ‘my connections – share contacts with the team’, you will not be able to see the visitor data they have collected. If you require visibility of their data, you will need to request for that team member to change their setting. Each individual team member can view their leads via the ‘my contacts’ tab in their personal profile.

How can my team in China download the app?

They can download an APK file to have full functionality of the mobile app onsite. They can also access the desktop version via Baidu Browser.

I didn’t receive a One-Time Password (OTP) via email to login to the app. What should I do?

Check your junk folder for the OTP email. Please be sure you’re entering the same email that your exhibitor badge is registered under. If you have checked the above and you are still not receiving the OTP, check with your IT department as they may be blocking the email. Please email: techweek@closerstillmedia.com if you require assistance.

Why can’t I see the ‘Exhibitor Centre’ menu option via the event app?

Please check you have applied for your exhibitor badge as you will not be able to see the Exhibitor Centre if you have not applied for your badge. Also ensure your primary contact has added you to their ‘Exhibition Team’ via the app. Alternatively, you may have registered for a visitor pass instead of an exhibitor pass. Please contact techweek@closerstillmedia.com to assist you with this.

Are visitors able to scan exhibitor badges via the event app?

Visitors will not be able to scan exhibitor badges, the lead scanning function is an app feature for exhibitors only.

I noticed that after adding my colleagues to the ‘Team Member’ section in the app, most of them are marked as ‘not sharing contacts with the team’. Does this mean that the leads they scan won’t be visible to the rest of the team?

Yes correct, you will not be able to see the leads they scan via their app. They will need to change this setting via their personal profile if you want visibility of the lead data they capture.

We are a sponsor that doesn’t have a booth, can we still access the event app?

Yes, you can still access the app if you have applied for your exhibitor/staff badges.

Are VIP pass holders able to use the event app to scan badges? Can we also scan their badges?

The lead scanning function is exclusively available to exhibitors and sponsors, including the ability to scan VIP badges. VIP pass holders will not be able to scan badges.

I added a team member to the exhibition team via the app, but he noticed that his app doesn't have the camera icon for scanning leads. How can we resolve this?

This normally occurs if your team member has registered as a visitor instead of an exhibitor. Please email techweek@closerstillmedia.com so we can amend the ticket type.

I need to update my company profile, but I cannot edit or change my display picture via the event app?

Your company profile information and display picture on the event app is syncing with your Ezone profile. Please update your company profile and/or logo by logging into your EZONE account. Allow up to 1 hour for the app to sync with the EZONE after making amendments.

If you need any assistance, please contact us: techweek@closerstillmedia.com
